London-based robotics and data intelligence company Dexory has launched its DexoryView platform, a new warehouse management system (WMS), which uses a combination of real time data and what the company calls the ‘tallest robot of its kind’.
Some of the key applications of DexoryView include automated data collection and the development of real time digital twins, which the firm says can offer insights across a range of intralogistics operations.
These insights include access to a company’s inventory to automate stock checking and monitoring occupancy, efficiency and operational profitability.
“The DexoryView platform offers a real time representation of the state of your warehouse via an intuitive, easy to access digital format – including racking, all goods and machinery inside as well as the team working in the space,” said Andrei Danescu, CEO of Dexory.
“What makes the DexoryView platform unique is the way we constantly feed it with real time information captured from warehouses through our autonomous robots.”
The newly-announced robot, built to support the warehousing platform, can extend to up to 12m (39.3ft), according to Dexory.
What’s more, the company claims its new robot is suited to scanning applications in warehouses of a range of shapes and sizes, and is supported by several 3D depth cameras and sensors that allow it to autonomously navigate the warehouse using lidar technology.
This, in turn, supports the capture of high-definition 3D scans of the space, including scans of any labels and barcodes on pallets, parcels or products. Once a scan is complete, the information is sent to the DexoryView platform to create digital models of the warehouse.
The solution is available through a subscription service for customers who want to scale their DexoryView access based on varying data needs.
“DexoryView is an innovative, cost-effective and time-efficient solution that is easy to implement, scale and adapt to specific needs,” said Oana Jinga, COO of Dexory.
“It requires no infrastructure changes and can often be up and running in less than a week.”
Dexory (Stand i206) will be exhibiting at IntraLogisteX 2023, which will be co-located with Robotics and Automation 2023. To attend to visit for free or find out more, visit www.intralogistex.co.uk or www.roboticsandautomation.co.uk.
