Viking Masek Robotics & Automation, a provider of packaging automation solutions, has announced a new OEM partnership with Sick, a developer of intelligent sensor solutions, to integrate the latter’s 2D and 3D vision systems components into its machinery.
By leveraging SIck’s vision products, Viking Masek Robotics & Automation hopes to improve its offering of customised automation solutions to better meet customers needs.

According to Viking Masek Robotics & Automation’s systems, the integrated of machine-vision technology is hoped to deliver enhanced performance and productivity.
Some of the key areas the company hopes to see improvements are in quality control and object recognition.
