In a move to bolster operational technology (OT) security and improve customers’ resilience against cyber threats, international supplier of electrical interconnection and automation technology WAGO and cybersecurity solutions provider Radiflow have announced a strategic partnership.
This collaboration aims to enhance resilience against cyber threats, securing OT networks in critical infrastructure and industrial environments.
In today’s highly interconnected world, cyber threats pose severe challenges, risking operational disruptions, security breaches and financial losses.
“Protecting digital and electrical systems goes beyond physical components; it requires a comprehensive approach to cybersecurity,” said Thomas Burklé, VP of automation sales & industry management EMEA, WAGO.
Combining their strengths, WAGO and Radiflow intend to offer tailored OT security solutions for markets such as smart factories, smart buildings and smart energy.
Kilian Fröhlich, global business development manager at WAGO, expressed optimism about the partnership, stating that it will help leverage the companies’ shared expertise in industrial automation and advanced cybersecurity solutions to provide integrated cybersecurity consulting.
The agreement will see Radiflow’s cybersecurity software integrated into WAGO’s products and services. This includes advanced threat detection with real-time monitoring, increased security through network segmentation, and comprehensive inventory and risk assessments, the pair said in a statement.
“Our partnership with WAGO provides robust, safe and efficient solutions for industrial automation and cybersecurity,” added David Moss, VP of sales at Radiflow.
