Seegrid Corporation, a developer of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), has announced a strategic partnership with Koops Automation Systems, a systems integrator specialising in industrial automation.
Koops hopes that the collaboration will help it grow its commercial offering by connecting its customers to the full suite of Seegrid Palion AMRs and its Fleet Central enterprise software solutions.
“We are excited to be able to solve yet another set of problems our customers experience,” said Mike Slager, director of business development for Koops Automation.
“We have seen the need for Seegrid’s products first hand in many of our applications and are looking forward to integrating this technology into our state-of-the-art automation solutions.”
According to Koops, its AMR offering includes the Seegrid Palion Lift, its newest AMR model and what it claims is the only lift truck on the market ‘with industry-leading 3D perception’. Seegrid’s Palion Pallet Truck and Tow Tractor will reportedly also be made available for system integrations.
What’s more, Koops hopes to provide customers with access to Seegrid’s material handling automation services and software solutions, including its Supervisor fleet management software and Fleet Geek data analytics platform. Seegrid describes this platform as quick to deploy and as a low-risk automated solution for material handling applications.
