Geek+, an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) manufacturer, has announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Numina Group, a warehouse automation specialist.
Numina has reportedly already started implementing Geek+’s technology, using its AMR-based goods-to-person (G2P) solution with clients improve picking productivity for order fulfilment. The sports retailer has acquired a fleet of Geek+ P800 picking machines for storage and shelf applications.

Randy Randolph, VP of channels and partnerships at Geek+ Americas, said: “We are very pleased to have partnered with the Numina Group.
“They have an excellent reputation with over three decades of experience automating warehouse operations, and we are delighted to see that they have already started using Geek+ technology to create effective, modern supply chain solutions.”
The partnership should enable Numina to deploy Geek+ technology across North America for multiple industries, including e-commerce, food and beverage, healthcare, 3PL and consumer goods.
According to Geek+, some of its robots’ benefits are reduced operating costs, the removal of labour-intensive tasks and improved use of warehouse space.
