Exotec, a provider of robotic warehouse solutions, has announced that it has manufactured its 5,000th robot.
The news comes three months after the company declared its production of its 4,000th robot.
According to Exotec, this is its shortest time yet between manufacturing milestones, which it says signifies an increasing business momentum driven by the growing demand for warehouse automation.
What’s more, the 5,000th robot will be named ‘Monu’ (short for ‘Monumental’) in recognition of this moment for the company.
Romain Moulin, CEO and co-founder at Exotec said: “We continue to see a strong demand for scalable and proven warehouse robotic solutions.
“We have a track record of serving the world’s largest brands, which places Exotec at the heart of the explosive growth of the global warehouse robotics market, which is expected to be worth $16 billion by 2031.”
The company has said this achievement is testament to its rapidly growing manufacturing capabilities and the growing demand for the company’s products across the globe.
