Advance Automated Systems has appointed a new sales project engineer at its County Durham-based operation.
Dave King, a former machine shop manager, joins the conveying and automated handling company, which operates from a 30,000ft2 manufacturing site, having previously been responsible for a team of 25, accountable for SQDC, OTIF and leading continuous improvement projects.
Speaking of his new role, King said: “Advance is a growing company and recognises the need for increased bespoke automated turnkey solutions for their customers. Being part of a business that can provide a full engineering solution from concept-design right through to Installation is what attracted me to the position.”
Advance expanded earlier this year, establishing a new office in Lutterworth. The site primarily focuses on product support during the design, installation and commissioning phases of projects in the central and southern parts of the UK.
