Knightscope, a developer of advanced physical security technologies focused on enhancing US security operations, has announced the deployment of a K5 autonomous security robot (ASR) in Nashville, Tennessee, USA.
The ASR will patrol will provide ‘round-the-clock’ monitoring of a 10-storey parking structure to deter trespassers..
According to Knightscope’s, budget was a key factor for the customer when deciding to subscribe to the company’s services.
The rate for the fully mobile, outdoor K5 came in at approximately US$1,200 (£952) per week for 24/7/365 coverage.
