Robotics and Automation Exhibition 2024
On 19-20 March, Robotics & Automation is returning to the NEC, Birmingham. With more than 8,000 visitors, 350+ exhibitors and 60+ speakers during the course of the two days, Robotics and Automation Exhibition is the UK’s largest dedicated exhibition for robotics and automated technologies and an unmissable event in the industry calendar. The exhibition is ideal for automation professionals who are looking for solutions to their current and future challenges, from the latest sensor technologies to full-scale warehouse automation solutions. Robotics & Automation Awards
Organised by Robotics & Automation Magazine, the inaugural Robotics & Automation Awards recognised and celebrated a range of outstanding applications of robotics or automated systems throughout the value chain of a several prominent industries. After an overwhelming response from the industry in its first year, this event is set to be even bigger and better in 2024. This one-of-akind event brough together leading academics at the forefront of innovation with some of the biggest industry names, offering unrvialled networking opportunities for the 220+ attendees. The glittering ceremony will be held on 6 November 2024 at the same venue, De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms. This year’s inaugural winners were revealed at a special ceremony held at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms on 31 October 2023. The night was a glittering occasion, with the best of the best working with robotics and automation attending to celebrate their achievements. Bring on 2024!
Robotics and Automation Conference
An industry-leading conference programme will take centre stage at next year’s Robotics and Automation Exhibition, with key industry players returning to discuss critical issues facing professionals working across the robotics and automation value chains from a wide range of industries. Speakers from the 2023 conference included: Gordon Baker, policy lead for robotics, UK Department of Science, Innovation & Technology; Grace Wilkinson, head of online, last mile and customer service, Co-op; James Hart, business development manager EMEA, Lucas Systems; Esyin Chew, director of Eureka Robotics Centre; Samia Nefti-Meziani OBE, director of Robotics, University of Birmingham; and many more!
Content Zones
Those who attended the co-located Robotics and Automation and IntraLogisteX this year would have been witness to the first-ever Content Zones, which formed an innovative new part of these well-established exhibitions. The new Zones provided attendees with free insights into some of the most innovative uses of robotics from across the UK, including a collaborative robot (cobot) workshop from Smart Hub Lanarkshire and a mock-up cafe serviced by Pudu Robotics’ BellaBots. Next year’s exhibition will follow suit, with a host of cutting-edge projects in the robotics and automation space set to grace the show floor once again…
IntraLogisteX 2024
Robotics and Automation 2024 will once again be co-located with another of Akabo Media’s market-leading exhibitions: IntraLogisteX, which is Britain’s biggest and best-established exhibition for the warehouse and logistics sector. Robotics and Automation attendees will therefore also have the opportunity to discover how the very latest and next-generation solutions using robotics, automation and future technologies can revolutionise their logistics operations. Given the success of the co-located events in 2023, the decision to do the same again on a bigger scale in 2024 was a no-brainer!
These exhibitions will also be co-located with the Sustainable Supply Chain Exhibition – which is brand new for 2024. Supply Chain Excellence Awards
The 2024 Supply Chain Excellence Awards will be held on 28 October, a fitting date for the 28th year of the awards. Due to the huge success of the 2023 event, the Supply Chain Excellence Awards will be held at Grosvenor House next year. Moving the event to one of the biggest ballrooms in Europe means that these awards will undoubtedly be the biggest and best to date. Categories like the Best Use of Robotics honoured on the night ensure that the latest innovations in robotics and automated systems for logistics purposes are recognised at one of the longest-running events for the logistics sector.
