Brighton-based tech start-up Robus Automation has developed virtual assistants to automate repetitive administrative tasks for SMEs.
The company said its aims is to make automation accessible to companies of all sizes by offering affordable and scalable solutions that can be implemented using existing software and IT infrastructures.
“Using the latest UiPath technology, we provide everything from pay-as-you-go, pre-built bots to highly complex solutions requiring bespoke development,” said Becky Sharp co-founder of Robus Automation.
“As an example, one of our existing bots will process all your bank reconciliations using Xero accounting software.”
Robus Automation’s robotic process automation (RPA) bots can open and read emails, move files and folders, copy and paste data, log into applications, fill in forms, extract data from documents and make calculations.
According to the company, its bots are fast, easy to train, infinitely scalable and totally accurate.
Robus said it hoped to capitalise on the boom in home working following lockdown by helping SMEs in particular end “long days of boring, repetitive, time-sapping administrative tasks”.
“Instead of replacing employees, our bots are designed to support them by becoming their virtual assistants,” said Emma Booysen, co-founder of Robus Automation.
“These robots are not designed to take away people’s jobs. They’re here to take away the mundane tasks, freeing up people to be more creative and innovative – doing all the things robots can’t.”
