UK-based Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity platform provider Wireless Logic has announced its acquisition of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) vendor IoThink solutions for an undisclosed fee.
IoThink was formed in 2016 in France, setting out to offer customers tools with which to build their own bespoke IoT platforms.
Now, it is part of Wireless Logic, which has been involved in connectivity across multiple sectors since the turn of the century.
One of Wireless Logic’s founders, chief executive Oliver Tucker, said: “There are great synergies between Wireless Logic and IoThink Solutions, and this is an exciting acquisition for us, as it extends our reach to an adjacent part of the value chain.”
Adding to this, Julien Dalmasso, co-founder and chief executive at IoThink Solutions, said: “Joining one of the world’s largest IoT Connectivity providers is a natural fit and a logical next step for us.
“Wireless Logic is a heavyweight in the IoT industry, as evidenced by its recent global momentum, partnerships and overall market success.
“Introducing our IoT enablement solution to Wireless Logic’s extensive customer base presents a huge opportunity.”
Wireless Logic has said it plans to integrate its connectivity solutions within IoThink’s core offering- the Kheiron IoT Suite.
