ABB has announced its agreement to acquire Födisch Group, a German company specialising in advanced measurement and analytical solutions for the energy and industrial sectors.
This acquisition will enhance ABB’s capabilities in continuous emission monitoring systems (CEMS), boosting its technological competitiveness and innovation.
Födisch Group, with approximately 250 employees and €50m (£42m) in revenue in 2023, will expand ABB’s portfolio to address complex measurement challenges.
Födisch Group, headquartered in Markranstädt, Germany, operates multiple facilities across Germany, the Netherlands and China. Its solutions are widely used in industries such as power generation, waste management and manufacturing to monitor and reduce emissions.

The transaction, which is expected to close by year-end, is subject to customary conditions. Financial terms were not disclosed.
