Yusen Logistics, a provider of supply-chain solutions and logistics services, has implemented DexoryView, an automated visibility platform from Dexory, a developer of AI-powered robotics and visibility solutions.
Yusen Logistics hopes to improve the reliability and value of the services it provides to end customers, including, it has said, leading electronics manufacturers, through automation solutions.
The company claims the solution has had a transformational impact on its warehouse operations by enabling wall-to-wall scans of its entire warehouse within just two hours, every day.
Previously, achieving this required in excess of 100 hours of manual labour and took more than a week to do each month.
This advancement has also eliminated the need for the biannual wall-to-wall checks, saving an additional 205 hours of labour annually, Yusen added.
By generating real-time data daily, the 3PL can now analyse the entire warehouse more efficiently, identifying errors and understanding their impact on overall workflow.
This improvement plays a pivotal role in streamlining operations and helping ensure seamless order fulfilment processes, according to the 3PL.
