Rainbow Dynamics, a new UK-based robotics and automation company, has announced its launch in this market with a focus on designing and building sustainable robotic load handling and parcel sortation solutions for logistics warehouses, parcel handling facilities, manufacturing sites and e-commerce fulfilment centres.
Headquartered in Chorley, Lancashire, the company aims to revolutionise supply chain operations through robotics technology.
Rainbow Dynamics offers an array of cutting-edge products, including an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) for various applications, such as transporting products during manufacturing or sorting foodstuffs for grocery distribution centres.
Another notable offering is its robotic pallet and roll-cage handling forklift with a 1,500kg load capacity, designed to enhance efficiency by freeing personnel from transport duties.
The company also features a flexible automated storage and retrieval shuttle for high-density racking schemes, maximising storage space and improving throughput speeds and picking accuracy.
Later this year, Rainbow Dynamics plans to introduce a tote-handling goods-to-person order picking system based on its ‘RackBot’ technology.
All components used in Rainbow Dynamics’ equipment are manufactured in Europe and comply with CE standards, the company said in a statement.
Although production is currently abroad, the company plans to begin in-house assembly soon, with an announcement expected this year regarding a new UK assembly facility.
