Warehouse automation specialist Logistex has announced a new partnership to supply end-to-end automation solutions for logistics to UK customers.
The solutions are intended to streamline fulfilment and maximise productivity, the company has said, with logistics robotics company Geek+ supporting the scheme.
The robotics manufacturer specialises in mobile robotic solutions, which can be used for scalable deployments and fluctuating e-commerce operations.
Through the partnership, Logistex clients will now be able to access a new suite of robotics solutions to automate material handling processes, inventory management and order fulfilment.
“The partnership will unite our solution expertise and market knowledge,” said Tony Gruber, managing director, Logistex.
“It’s about the collective strength to innovate and address the evolving needs of the logistics landscape. Together, we can enable more businesses to attain greater efficiency and competitiveness.”
The available portfolio comprises shelf-to-person, smart sorting and robotic shuttle solutions.
Software supports for the hardware include the Geek+ Robot Management System, Warehouse Execution System, Warehouse Management System and simulation software platforms.
This will provide customers with the option to introduce end-to-end automation throughout their facilities, with benefits of this approach including operational optimisation, reduced labour costs and increased fulfilment capacity, Logistex has said.
“We see this partnership with Logistex not just as a collaboration, but a fusion of visions and aspirations,” added Simon Houghton, sales director UKI & ME, Geek+.
“Together, our combined strengths will write a new chapter of innovation and growth for the UK logistics industry.”
