AI software and smart robotics provider GreyOrange has partnered with intralogistics and automation firm Big Box to provide robotic picking and sortation solutions for UK businesses.
The strategic partnership leverages Big Box’s customer portfolio to provide automated warehousing solutions to businesses across the country. Through GreyOrange’s GreyMatter operating system and Ranger MoveSmart robots, Big Box aims to improve supply chain efficiencies and reduce order-to-delivery times.
According to the collaboration, the solution enables fast and accurate deliveries and easy returns. It has been designed for organisations who are eager to meet customer fulfilment needs to gain a competitive advantage.
Iain Gillard, managing director at Big Box, said: “In online sales and distribution channels, the need to offer services such as same-day-delivery and store pick up means customer fulfilment and delivery needs continue to shift.
“The sheer volume and mix of orders mean that warehouses are under increasing pressure to deliver the shortest possible timeframes. As a global leader in robotics technology, GreyOrange in partnership with Big Box will provide UK customers with cutting edge robotics solutions amid a reduced labour pool and growing consumer demands.”
