Geek+, a supplier of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) for logistics applications, has released its latest solution, RoboShuttle Plus, which is designed to offer a one-stop storage and picking solution for of all types of goods.
The company says that the newly-announced RoboShuttle Plus will help users deliver higher throughput and flexibility, and that its arrival marks significant progress for its various robots’ interoperability and full warehouse automation.
What’s more, the upgraded solution reportedly fills a market gap by offering an all-in-one picking solution that can coordinate three types of robots around a single centralised workstation. These three solutions are RoboShuttles, which handle vertical storage and retrieval of totes, P40 picking robots that can move smaller items, and P500 and P800 robots, which move medium to large items.
Hongbo Li, chief technology officer at Geek+, said: “The RoboShuttle series has been one of our most successful line of solutions enabling automated height storage for warehouses, and this latest version realises the full potential of our technology as it adds more speed and higher throughput for customers.
“Entrusting all picking to RoboShuttle Plus allows businesses to centralise their operations and enables them to respond to business fluctuations quickly and easily.”
According to Geek+, its warehouse management software coordinates the actions of all robots, optimises the placement of goods in the inventory and ensures maximum efficiency and 99.99% picking accuracy.
What’s more, the solution was designed to make use of vertical warehouse space, meaning it can remove the need for multi-zone operations by allowing items of all sizes to be handled by one solution at a centralised workstation.
Geek+ (Stand i602) will be at IntraLogisteX 2023, which will be co-located with Robotics and Automation 2023 on 28-29 March 2023 at the NEC Birmingham. For more information, or to register to attend for free, visit www.intralogistex.co.uk or www.roboticsandautomation.co.uk.
