Lisa Banton has been appointed managing director for UK & Ireland at smart automation solutions provider Böwe Systec, part of Possehl Group.
Banton has responsibility for the leadership and development of Böwe Systec’s UK and Ireland business, particularly in the intralogistics market.
She brings to the role 35 years’ experience and knowledge of inserting systems for transactional and direct mail applications, card processing solutions, letter and parcel sorting systems for mailing processing centres, automation solutions for warehousing and serialisation in the pharmaceutical industry and the computer and digital printing industries.
Banton has worked for Böwe Systec in various roles, including as commercial director, and subsequently general manager for Böwe Systec in Ireland. She also acted temporarily as managing director for Böwe Systec UK & Ireland in 2015.

Banton succeeds Philippe Dugougeat who has become executive vice president for sales in North America.

Böwe Systec (stand 404) will be at IntraLogisteX 2020, which will take place on 28 and 29 July at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry. The exhibition was rescheduled in the light of the coronavirus pandemic.
