The robotics company formerly known as BotsAndUs has announced its official rebranding and its new name, Dexory.
Dexory will be exhibiting its solutions under its new name at IntralogisteX 2023, which will be co-located with Robotics and Automation 2023.
The company claims the new name comes from two words, dexterity and echolocation, which is representative of its ethos to enhance human lives and ability through robotics. It hopes to continue to progress the use of autonomous robots in providing real time data analytics and the tracking of warehouse goods.
“The natural evolution to Dexory is a new and thrilling chapter of our company,” said Andrei Danescu, CEO, Dexory.
“As we focus on data-led insight technology for the logistics and supply chain industry, we believe the timing was right for this transition.
“This allows us to capture the essence of who we are as a business and as a team.”
What’s more, the company received US$13m (£10.7m) in seed funding in June, which brought its total capital raised to US$20m (£16.5m).
The robotics firm has reported that the rebranding will not affect its relationships with key partners, including Menzies Aviation, Maersk, Huboo and other logistics and warehousing companies across the UK and Europe.
