Berkshire Grey, a developer of AI-enabled robotic solutions designed to automate supply-chain processes, has announced that it has secured new orders totalling US$36m (£26.8m).
According to the company, US$25m (£18.6m) of this is from repeat orders from a blue-chip anchor customer for tens of solutions to be installed in different locations, with more locations anticipated for future orders, and US$11m (£8.1m) from new customers including US home and apparel retailer Bealls.
In total, the new orders reportedly increase the company’s total orders to-date to US$184m (£136.8m) and increase backlog to US$113m (£84m) – its highest level yet.
