Dutch brewing company Heineken has revealed its new autonomous cooler which uses AI and motion sensor technology to follow its owner around delivering cold beer.
In the recently released video, the Beer Outdoor Transporter (B.O.T) was shown transporting 12 beers in a contained box suitable for also holding ice. The autonomous cooler features two large wheels and four smaller ones enabling it to navigate on both grass and concrete.
According to Heineken, the B.O.T has a “charming AI personality”, and can “speak” to its owner, asking questions such as “Are you thirsty?”.
Launched with the tagline “Wherever you go, your Heineken will follow”, the robot was available to win on 01 July and then will be available for a limited time only.
