Movu Robotics has been chosen by Knorr-Bremse to install advanced automation solutions at the company’s facility in Lisieux, France.
The installation will feature 10 Atlas pallet shuttles, three elevators, and four Escala bin shuttles, designed to streamline Knorr-Bremse’s production and logistics processes. The systems are hoped to improve efficiency by optimising warehouse automation.

The project is being facilitated by Delta+ Consulting, which has worked closely with both Knorr-Bremse and Movu Robotics to design a tailored solution for the facility.
The new systems are expected to go live in early 2026.
The Movu Atlas system, designed to manage up to 5,000 pallets, will operate with 10 shuttles and three elevators, while the Movu Escala system will handle up to 2,500 bins with four shuttles. The combined setup will allow for both small and large volumes of parts to be efficiently managed, supporting the plant’s manufacturing processes with precision and speed.
Stéphane Devulder, managing director of Knorr-Bremse, France, said: “At Knorr-Bremse, we are always innovating to keep our manufacturing and logistic processes efficient and reliable, especially in the automotive industry, where precision is key.
“This advanced installation will feature two powerful systems working together: the Movu atlas, with space for 5,000 pallets managed by 10 shuttles and 3 elevators, and the Movu Escala, handling up to 2,500 bins with 4 shuttles.”
Francisco Vinals, sales director at Movu Robotics, said: “We’re excited to bring the Movu atlas and Escala systems together for Knorr-Bremse. These solutions are designed to operate seamlessly, meeting their demand for reliable low-volume and high-volume part handling.”
