Quicktron, a developer of robotic solutions for intralogistics, has announced that it has chosen Bruntwood SciTech’s hub in Birmingham for its new UK HQ.
The multinational company is headquartered in Shanghai and has offices in the USA, Germany, Spain, Japan, Korea and Singapore and has acquired 1,000ft² (93m²) of space at Innovation Birmingham.
The robotics firm has chosen the Birmingham site as its first base of operations in the UK, with the city being ranked second overall in the UK in the CBRE’s UK Tech Cities report.
The city’s grow tech sector is supported by two of the West Midlands’ higher education institutions, both of which are situated close to the SciTech hub.
Bruntwood SciTech provides property and commercial space for the UK science and technology sector.
