The automation solution, which operates using synchronisation intelligence from Swisslogâs Synq software, provides warehouse management, material flow and an automation control system functionality within a single platform.
AutoStore functions by integrating host systems and other warehouse software across the site, which now contains 31,844 storage bins, providing 83,000ft3 of storage for 14,154 SKUs.
The news follows the announcement that Swisslog was set to provide robotics for Albert Heijn DC’s new Home Shop Center at the end of 2023.
