Digital construction company Admares is set to build the first of its smart factories, which aim to “revolutionise the construction of buildings” through the use of robotic automation.
Admares has signed a cooperation agreement with robot developer Kuka that will see robotic automation systems and production lines install in the new Admares smart factories.
According to the collaboration, the new smart factory concept will drastically increase the level of automation in the construction industry and cut construction times by more than 70% in the process.
“We are very excited to work together with Kuka, the world’s leading supplier of intelligent automation solutions,” said Mikael Hedberg, CEO at Admares Group.
“The know-how of Kuka is crucial while Admares sets up the world’s first automated and robotised factory for mass producing off-site manufactured smart buildings.”
