Wise Robotics – formerly known as OW Robotics – is demonstrating robots performing a goods-to-person picking solution at this year’s Robotics and Automation exhibition.
Also, on display is the company’s advanced picking spotlight system, which is designed to enhance the accuracy of warehouse staff.
Speaking to Robotics & Innovation live on the show floor about the rebrand, Joe Daft, head of robotics at Wise Robotics, said: “Wise Robotics has experienced considerable growth since we launched OW Robotics in 2018 and then in 2019 when we started our partnership with HikRobot, a global robotic solutions provider.
“This new chapter under Wise Robotics is symbolic of our vision for the future. A future that’s bold, cutting-edge, and innovative. Importantly, our new brand will help us continue to build on our success and continue to grow our position in the warehouse automation market.”
As well as a live demo of the newly rebranded robots, Wise Robotics is offering attendees the chance to win their very own eufy RoboVac. A Power-Pick-Challenge game is being hosted on the stand and the player with the highest score will walk away with a domesticated robot.
Furthermore, the game is designed to offer a glimpse of the kinds of warehouse improvements businesses can expect from the combined partnership from Wise Robotics and Hikrobot.
Wise Robotics (Stand 410) is at Robotics and Automation 2021 on 02-03 November at the Coventry Building Society Arena. For more details, go to www.roboticsandautomation.co.uk
