Troax UK, which has been developing steel mesh panel solutions since 1955, is showcasing its machine guarding product range this year’s Robotics and Automation exhibition.
As visitors are learning, Troax believes machine guarding is an essential part of any robotic or automation project, with it putting a range of solutions on show for the protection of both personnel and processes in the hopes of making production safer and more efficient.
Centre stage at Stand 414 are its patented modular machine guarding products, with Troax’s standard mesh panels coming in eight different widths and five heights variations.
The sliding, high-quality steel and polycarbonate panels on display are also available as a range of accessories to let customers customise their projects, including cutting kits, kick plates, flexible panels, curved panels, infills, door closers and motorised sliding doors.
Attendees are also learning about door options provided by Troax, which include hinged, sliding, telescopic and folding solutions, all of which are available in widths from 700 to 6,000mm.
According to the company, these can be equipped with a safety switch or interlock of choice to reach requested performance levels. Furthermore, all solutions are designed to comply with Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and have been tested in-house to withstand impacts of up to 6,000 joules.
What’s more, Troax manufactures stainless steel and aluminium extrusion machine guarding systems, as well as commercial and warehouse partitioning, steel mesh decks and property protection cages for a range of industrial safeguarding needs.
Geoff McBride, national technical manager at Troax, who is manning the stand today with colleagues, said: “We’re happy to be here at Robotics and Automation again, Troax is at the forefront of developing innovative machine guarding products.
“We have a good understanding of the standards required to comply with the Machinery Directive.”
The Troax team is at Stand 414 for any machine guarding questions you may have!
