Packaging company Sealed Air will be showcasing its range of automated packaging solutions at the co-located Robotics and Automation and IntraLogisteX 2023.
At this year’s exhibition at the NEC Birmingham, Sealed Air will be at Stand i800, where its I-Pack void reduction system will be on display at the stand.
The solution was designed to offer high-speed order fulfilment for e-commerce and logistics customers.
The firm says that this boxing solution can apply right-sizes corrugated cartons to each product, which means material use is optimised, while also providing high-quality cushioning.
In addition to this, the solution is designed to allow more boxes to fit in pallets or trucks to maximise use of space and reducing operational costs.
Sealed Air’s focus on automation at the stand will extend beyond I-Pack; visitors will also get the chance to learn more about the company’s Autobag-brand automated packing solutions.
These bagging systems include an integrated printer capable of printing high-resolution graphics, text, and barcodes directly onto bags, which Sealed Air believes can save both time and consumables.
At its stand, Sealed Air will display the tabletop Autobag PS 125 as well as the Autobag 850S, an automated bagging system for larger bags up to 550mm wide.
Sealed Air has been offering these systems since the company’s acquisition of Automated Packaging Systems, which invented Autobag, in 2019.
What’s more, a selection of the company’s inflatable and paper packaging systems, including new films which are designed for recycling, will be on show at the exhibitions in Birmingham on 28-29 March 2023.
