The UK’s premier event for robotics and automated technologies, Robotics and Automation, has seen the official launch of the second annual Robotics & Automation Awards.
The launch of these awards will complement the Robotics and Automation exhibition, drawing attention to not only to the latest products and technologies on display, but also the major industry players and rising talent behind them.
Other major Awards ceremonies launching at the show, which is co-located with IntraLogisteX and the Sustainable Supply Chain Exhibition, are the third CiTTi Awards, the longstanding Supply Chain Excellence Awards and the all-new sister event for logistics excellence, the Supply Chain Excellence Awards USA!
Scheduled to launch amid the showcase of cutting-edge technologies from more than 250 exhibitors, this awards ceremony promises to celebrate innovation and ingenuity from across the robotics and automation sectors.
In its launch year, this glittering event brought industry and innovation together to form the major new event for robotics and automation professionals.
Organised by Robotics & Automation Magazine, and in affiliation with Robotics and Automation exhibition, the second-ever Robotics & Automation Awards will continue to highlight innovation demonstrated by both British and international organisations in the application of robotic or automated systems throughout the value chain of a range of prominent industries.
This year will see the inclusion of 30 innovative categories spanning a broad cross-section of industries, with dedicated parent categories encompassing celebrations among people, specific technologies, key industry segments and R&D innovation.
With robotics and automation already playing critical across many key industries, from manufacturing and logistics to aerospace and healthcare, the need to recognise major advancements in automation has never been more apparent.
