Robotics and Automation 2024 has officially closed its doors after a record-breaking year, which saw nearly 9,000 attendees pay a visit to Halls 6 & 7 of the NEC Birmingham to see the UK’s largest dedicated exhibition for robotics and automated technologies, plus its co-located shows IntraLogisteX and the Sustainable Supply Chain Exhibition.
The three leading events for those working across automation, logistics, supply chains and sustainability will return to the NEC Birmingham on 25-26 March 2025, with more than 11,000 attendees and 350+ exhibitors expected.
Commenting on the success of the show, Stephen Brooks, managing director of the event’s organiser Akabo Media, said: “We had a 50% increase in attendees this year and to have hit almost 9,000 visitors is phenomenal, but not surprising given the high quality of exhibitors this year. This was complemented with the addition of an all-new exhibition focused on everything sustainable for the logistics and automation market segments.
“These figures show the scale of these three shows and demonstrate that it is the leading event for the automation, supply-chain and sustainability business communities – with co-location meaning visitors get the benefit of three shows in one.
“Next year will be even bigger and better. The increase in attendees we’ve seen year-on-year means we’re well on track to get 11,000 high-quality professionals coming back to Halls 6 and 7 of the NEC, with longstanding exhibitions like IntraLogisteX and Robotics and Automation being complemented by exciting new opportunities from additions like Sustainable Supply Chain Exhibition and Aurora Insights, plus more innovation-focused additions, such as panel discussions and content zones, on the show floor than ever before.”
