Representatives from Panasonic Connect Europe will be joining ProGlove on Stand i108 at the co-located Robotics and Automation and IntraLogisteX shows next week at the NEC Birmingham on 28-29 March.
Both organisations specialise in providing tough mobile computing solutions, with Panasonic Toughbook and ProGlove planning to combine their expertise seamlessly into stand-alone scanning solutions or as essential elements of Panasonic’s voice picking solutions for warehousing, retail and supply chains.
ProGlove says that the stand will display the best of this collaboration, including the ProGlove Mark 2, a smart glove wearable barcode scanner. Typically replacing wired or wireless handheld and ring scanners, the solution enables operators to remain hands-free and with full dexterity to manage other tasks.
The ProGlove Mark 2 range fits into Panasonic’s flexible voice picking solution. This combines the use of a bluetooth headset with its rugged tablets, a built-in barcode scanner, or the ProGlove Mark 2, as well as a holster or shoulder strap and a Toughbook Omnia custom voice application.
Mike Willett, retail, transport and logistics and manufacturing lead for Panasonic Toughbook in the UK and Ireland, said: “In a modern warehouse, mobile devices are the critical link between the main office and warehouse floor, informing and powering operations from forklifts to picking.
“Panasonic and ProGlove are the perfect partners to provide tailor-made solutions for this market, and I look forward to spending more time with our partners and customers at IntraLogisteX to discuss the latest challenges and opportunities in the sector.”
ProGlove (Stand i108) will be at the co-located Robotics and Automation and IntraLogisteX on 28-29 March 2023 at the NEC Birmingham. For more information, visit www.intralogistex.co.uk or www.roboticsandautomation.co.uk.
