Together they’ll showcase the very latest in industrial and collaborative robots, end-of-arm tooling, autonomous mobile robots and automated guided vehicles, automated assembly machines and parts handling equipment, motion control and machine vision technology, sensors, and the latest advancements in AI and the IoT enabling smart factories and smart manufacturing.
Qualifying professionals from a wide range of sectors will converge for two days of networking, discussion and, most importantly, business, at the Coventry Building Society Arena, including key decision-makers from leading brands in retail, healthcare, pharmaceutical, automotive, logistics and warehousing, general manufacturing and food and beverage.
Attendees will also learn how the latest technologies can deliver practical, implementable modernisations to their operations, providing massive improvements in productivity and accuracy, via live tech demonstrations taking place throughout the exhibition, bringing first-hand insight into how they work in practice.
What’s more, the Robotics and Automation Conference will offer an invaluable opportunity for peer-to-peer discussion and industry networking to accelerate partnerships and collaboration, support better project delivery, further debate and working agreements.
Held within the exhibition hall across both days of the show, the seminar theatre will house a free and comprehensive learning opportunity for attendees to discover the latest research, trends and learn best-practices from industry leaders.
Some of the confirmed speakers so far are: Chris Paxton, strategic insight and innovation manager at Royal Mail; Jon Wakeling, physical infrastructure and Openeach research director at BT; John Wilson, technology and innovation director Europe at GXO Logistics; Esyin Chew, director of the Eureka Robotics Centre at Cardiff Metropolitan University; and Dr Gabriella Pizzuto, an interdisciplinary early career researcher in robot learning at the University of Liverpool.
The conference programme has now been published and includes sessions focused on how robotics is changing logistics and supply chains, healthcare and hospitality, robots in telecommunications and the rise of automation in manufacturing.
