At Stand 726, industrial automation company Balluff is offering live demonstrations of its industrial automation solutions, including the company’s all-in-one solution for condition monitoring.
Normally, a variety of hardware and software components are required to visualise and analyse the conditions of machines and systems. This toolkit bundles all the necessary components into one for early fault detection and preventative maintenance.
Also on the stand is the smart reordering system, which continuously records stock levels, so all stocks can be viewed graphically on a dashboard.
Balluff is also showing off its BVS Ident Sensor, which can read both 1D and 2D barcodes and direct part marked codes. Demonstrations of Balluff’s Plus IO-Link and Photoelectric Bullnose Sensors were likewise on-show.
On how the show has been so far, Richard Neil, project marketing manager and operational marketing manager from Balluff, said: “We had really good attendance [on day one], a good level of enquires, a good mixture of enquires from new and existing customers.
“We were able to talk about lots of different technology, condition monitoring, biolink, vision technology–a really good mix of applications.
“We’re also trying to showcase the 3-D vison packages that we’ve got available, which is really current tech for robot guidance. We’re looking to generate interest, meet new customers, increase our contact database and increase our brand awareness.”
