A new energy efficient robot-based tote handling solution developed to deliver high warehouse storage density and rapid and accurate picking will be among the technologies at the Libiao booth (Stand 720) within Robotics and Automation 2024 that attendees will have the opportunity to see.
Commenting on how the show has been for the materials-handling robotics company, a company spokesperson from Libiao Robotics said: “The exhibition is great, it’s really helping us put our products out there.
“We’ve deployed more than 45,000 robots around the world with hundreds of projects and partners worldwide.
“Our mission statement is to make the world more efficient, so right now we’re aiming to maximise warehouse efficiency. To do that, we’re aiming to reduce overall labour costs and improve profitability.”
Named Airrob, the system on show today travels at speeds of up to 2m/s, both horizontally and vertically, on a lightweight frame fitted to the face of racking.
Straightforward and highly cost-effective to install, Airrob was designed to deliver a ROI within 12-24 months, as visitors are learning.
Airrob is considered an ideal choice for warehouse operations – especially e-fulfilment sites – that wish to achieve the benefits and efficiency gains offered by automated tote handling without incurring the kind of costs and lengthy disruption to business operations that come with the installation of some traditional automated tote picking solutions.
With a European HQ in Frankfurt, Germany, and supported by an extensive network of authorised dealers that provide comprehensive after-sales and planned maintenance services, LiBiao Robotics’ European and global client base continues to grow, a company spokesperson added.
In 2024, it is estimated that 30 billion parcels will be processed by the company’s autonomous mobile robot sortation technology at client sites across the world.
Building on its success, the company is excited to be showing off its tech at the UK’s largest dedicated exhibition for robotics and automated technologies.
