At Robotics and Automation 2022, French autonomous mobile robot (AMR) manufacturer iFollow will showcase the latest agile automated intralogistics techniques involving AMRs for a broad range of applications in different sectors including grocery, manufacturing and logistics.
Frazer Watson, VP of sales for UK and Ireland at iFollow, said: “Our mobile robots are making a significant impact in the UK market, having attracted a tremendous amount of attention since making their debut at last year’s Robotics and Automation exhibition.”
Designed and manufactured in France, iFollow’s AMRs are capable of transporting different storage units such as pallets, trolleys and roll cages, with reported capacities of up to 1,500kg (3,306 lb).
As show attendees will see, iFollow AMRs are also able to carry two roll cages at once in cold stores and ambient warehouses, which the robotics company claims makes them a suitable productivity boosting solution for grocery logistics.
For those looking to upgrade their cold room machinery, iFollow’s robots are designed to operate in temperatures from -25°C to 40°C without degradation of battery life, with iFollow claiming the bots’ build can withstand travel on rough floors. In addition, the company said it can ensure the absence of condensation, even when the machines move from a very cold environment to a temperate space.
What’s more, according to iFollow, at 17cm (6.6in) high – approximately half as tall as other AMRs – the robots have a further advantage of reduced overall height when carrying roll cages.
iFollow (Stand 216) will be at Robotics and Automation 2022 on 01-02 November at the Coventry Building Society Arena. For more information about this unmissable event, or to register to attend, please visit www.roboticsandautomation.co.uk.
