Cembre, an Italian manufacturer of electrical compression connectors, tooling and cabling accessories and industrial marking and printing systems, will be exhibiting a range of its solutions at Robotics and Automation 2022.
The show will be held on 1 and 2 November 2022 at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
The manufacturer claims to be well-known for its battery tools, with its new generation of 18v units including crimping tools of max. 400mm², cutting tools of max 95mm diameter and hole punch tools of max 140mm diameter.
As visitors to the show, which is the largest of its kind for robotics and automated technologies in the UK, will see, Cembre’s crimping tools are equipped with a touch button and OLED display designed to provide real time operating data, pressure and force verification, cycles performed and remaining to recommended maintenance, as well as battery status.
Cembre claims that all of its tools benefit from 18v 4Ah Li-Ion air-cooled batteries, are fitted with powerful worklights, use optimised balance and shaping and robust bi-component body mouldings with enhanced motor ventilation, many of which can be recharged and used with other solutions.
For organisations on the look-out for identification and labelling solutions, Cembre offers the Markingenius MG4, the company’s newest product for such applications, which will be visible at the company’s stand at the exhibition next week.
The Markingenius, Cembre says, has been designed to offer a high quality and long-lasting print for text, logos, electrical symbols, QR codes and a range of other vector images. Moreover, it is reportedly equipped with a ribbon save system, which allows the user to consume only the ribbon needed for printing. Its reliability and robustness mean that the MG4 can be used intensively, making it suitable for all kinds of applications, with its large on-board touch screen enabling quick and easy management of print projects, Cembre says.
What’s more, the company claims that the MG4 provides connection to the company network via USB, LAN and Wi-Fi or, in the absence of a network, to mobile and fixed devices. The accompanying Geniuspro mobile app, which is compatible with IOS and Android devices (smartphones and tablets), can also be used for organising projects on site, on the electrical panel or on the machine.
Attendees looking to invest in LED solutions may be interested in the company’s CBlight (CBL) series, which reportedly offers a complete range of LED lights, including highly practical and functional flashlights, lamps and portable spotlights. The lights were developed to be compact and easy to use and to provide efficient wireless lighting for many applications, fitted with functions such as a light dimmer to preserve battery and touch sensitivity.
Some of these applications include outdoor activities, with magnetic supports making the solution useful on construction sites and in emergency situations, such as in the car, at home or in the office, according to Cembre. The company also suggests that the built-in rechargeable battery guarantees durability and low consumption thanks to lithium polymer cells (Li-POLY), which it says are more advantageous than traditional lithium-ion (Li-ION) cells.
Finally, Cembre’s lighting solutions reportedly have both high IP protection and solid shockproof and non-slip rubber construction to offer to provide, in the manufacturer’s words, a robust and safe solution.
