The co-located Robotics and Automation and IntraLogisteX 2024 will be the biggest event for the robotics, automation and logistics sectors this year – it is not be missed. Not only will the event offer essential networking for more than 8,000 exhibitors, lead generation for 250+ exhibitors and business research opportunities, but it will also see exciting announcements from the publisher of Robotics & Automation, Akabo Media.
Akabo Media is the UK’s leading events organiser for the logistics, automation, supply chain and sustainability sectors. However, at the 2024 Robotics and Automation and IntraLogisteX, which will also be situated alongside the Sustainable Supply Chain Exhibition, the company will be sharing details of its expansion of two leading events into the USA.
Robotics and Automation will take place at the NEC, Birmingham on 19-20 March 2024. At the co-locate exhibitions, Akabo Media will officially launch Aurora Insights, a hub for knowledge specifically designed to inform senior decision-makers and drive business forward. Read more about Aurora Insightsessential new business intelligence service for robotics, automation and logistics professionals.
The two major announcements include that the show will see the launch of the Supply Chain Excellence Awards USA. Taking place on 21 October 2024 in Miami, Florida, this event will reward innovative projects from across the Americas, delivering benefits to supply chains in ways such as efficiency, accuracy, cost reduction, visibility, resiliency and sustainability.
Entries will be encouraged from not just around the US but all across the Americas, in the food & drink, retail, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and automotive sectors – to name but a few. The UK-based and longstanding Supply Chain Excellence Awards are renowned for the rigour of the judging process, which also provides valuable feedback for entrants.
This launch builds on the continued domestic success of the Supply Chain Excellence Awards. This year will mark the 28th iteration of the awards and, due to the growing nature of the event, the awards night will be held at one of the biggest ballrooms in Europe – Grosvenor House in London. Fittingly, the 28th Supply Chain Excellence Awards will take place on 28 October 2024, just one week after the international launch of its sister event.
Entries for the 2024 awards in the UK are now officially open, so if you are involved in a project that you feel is worthy of recognition, now is the time to enter!
More details on the categories, the judging process and how to enter can be found on the Supply Chain Excellence Awards website.
The winners of the Supply Chain Excellence Awards USA will be announced at a black-tie event the night before IntraLogisteX USA opens at the Miami Beach Convention Centre. This means that for three days, Akabo Media will bring together the biggest and brightest in the logistics and supply chain sector from across the Americas. With Florida home to more than 11,500 logistics and distribution centres, it’s certainly the place to be for decision-makers in the industry.
