ADLINK Technology, a German designer and manufacturer of products for embedded computing, test and measurement, and automation applications, will showcase milestone developments in its robotics, edge AI and autonomous solutions at Robotics and Automation 2021.
Among the highlights on ADLINK’s stand (322) will be two new additions to the ROSCube product family:
- ROSCube PICO NPN; supporting NVIDIA Jetson Nano and NVIDIA Xavier NX with support for ROS/ROS2 and NVIDIA Jetpack.
- ROSCube PICO TGL; based on the 11th generation Intel Core processor and bundled with the Intel distribution of OpenVINO toolkit. NeuronBot; a rapid robotic development and demo kit based on ROS/ROS 2. NeuronBot is an affordable, miniature, autonomous robot development platform with integrated computational unit, lidar sensor, high payload capacity and dynamic motion capability. It is designed to enable a wide range of research, training and educational activities.
ADLINK partner Kudan’s autonomous mobile robot (AMR) prototype will also feature on the company’s stand to showcase the collaboration benefits of Kudan Visual SLAM together with ADLINK’s ROScube PICO TGL.
According to ADLINK, this showcases easy integration of Kudan SLAM and ADLINK’s ROScube, even for commercial AMRs. The new PICO solution combined with Intel technology reportedly delivers high-performance AI inference for edge computing applications on Intel’s latest power efficient processors with deep learning boost.
Also on display will be ADLINK’s NEON smart camera with Data Spree’s AI platform for object detection and classification. As visitors will discover, AI-based image processing can also categorise, count and check items for damage on the conveyor before storage or leaving a warehouse for faster, more efficient and accurate warehouse and logistics processes.
Furthermore, a range of new platforms based on the latest technologies with Intel, NVIDIA, Arm, NXP and AMD, in addition to ADLINK’s industry-standard building blocks, will also be showcased.
“Demand for AI, autonomy and more intelligent edge solutions – such as Industry 4.0 and robotics – has rapidly increased,” said Mark Turner, UK sales director at ADLINK Technology.
“More and more processing and determinism is required and achieved at the edge, or closer to the process itself, to enable faster decision making, improved process efficiency and adaptability.
“ADLINK is a key contributor to the ecosystems surrounding these developments and we look forward to sharing our expertise with visitors to Robotics and Automation.”
Meanwhile, over on Stand 108, Cogniteam will demonstrate its new Nimbus cloud-based platform on ADLINK’s ROScube PICO NPN. Nimbus is designed specifically to support the development, management and control of swarm autonomy robotic fleets, enable fast-to-market solutions and promote continuity with regular updates and upgrades.
ADLINK Technology (Stand 322) and Cogniteam (Stand 108) will both be at Robotics and Automation 2021 on 02-03 November at the Coventry Building Society Arena. For more details, please visit www.roboticsandautomation.co.uk
