Bytronic Vision Intelligence is exhibiting a range of image-based barcode-reading solutions designed to enhance parcel reading rates in logistics at Robotics and Automation 2023.
On display at Stand r402 is the fully-automated six-sided Modular Vision Tunnel from Cognex, an image-based barcode reader that use advanced algorithms and decoding technology to achieve up to 99.9% read rates, increasing overall throughput and reducing manual rework.
The Bytronic stand also features DataMan image-based barcode readers, which have no moving parts to ensure the solution will never wear out or fail; angled reader wedges that deliver optimal barcode reading results; multi-reader sync technology that delivers consolidated output to the control system; real-time performance feedback and trending information that delivers operational insights for corrective action; HDR Plus technology, which helps reduce gap space between packages by providing accurate code reading from steep angles and high perspectives; and barcode assignment technology that ensures the right code is assigned to the right package by preventing multi-reads of codes.
Martin Hurworth, CEO of Bytronic Vision Intelligence, said: “Being at Robotics and Automation and its partner event IntraLogisteX allows us to showcase our solutions to potential customers in factory automation and logistics.
“Both areas have opportunities for significant vision automation to tackle the significant productivity challenges that businesses currently face.
“We are looking forward to meeting potential clients and discussing future projects, and how we can assist them to achieve their goals.
“Despite Covid and remote working, it’s still really important for us to be having face-to-face conversations with others in the industry and to demonstrate the solutions now available.”
