BRINC, a US-based manufacturer specialising in emergency response drones, has raised US$75 million in a new funding round aimed at accelerating its technology development and scaling production.
The funding round was led by Index Ventures, with participation from Motorola Solutions and other notable investors, including Mike Volpi and Figma CEO Dylan Field.
The newly secured capital will support BRINC’s efforts to meet growing demand from public safety agencies, further research and development of next-generation drone systems, and expand its workforce.
The company plans to enhance its manufacturing capabilities to address increased interest in its drone technology, which is designed to assist law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical services.
A key component of the announcement is a new strategic alliance between BRINC and Motorola Solutions.
This partnership will integrate BRINC drones with Motorola’s suite of public safety technologies, including APX radios, VESTA 911 emergency call management software, Computer-Aided Dispatch systems, real-time crime centre software (CommandCentral Aware), and automatic license plate recognition tools.
The integration is expected to enable faster, more automated emergency responses. BRINC drones will be able to launch automatically in response to specific alerts or at the push of a button via radio systems, delivering real-time aerial intelligence directly into Motorola’s platforms.
With hundreds of emergency response agencies already utilising BRINC’s drone systems, the company aims to further enhance situational awareness, support tactical de-escalation, and transform how crisis situations are managed.
Achievements and innovations in retail and e-commerce, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, automotive, transport & logistics, and more will be celebrated at the Robotics & Automation Awards on 29 October 2025 at De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London.
