Robotiq, a supplier of cobot application solutions for factories, has announced a strategic partnership with 3D vision specialist Picket and Festo, a provider of pneumatic and electrical automation technology.
Together, the companies aim to combine Festo’s industrial automation products with Robotiq’s quick integration approach to develop all-in-one production floor solutions that widen access to cobot applications for the manufacturing sector.
The collaboration builds on a previous partnership, which saw Robotiq’s grippers and Picket’s 3D vision technology integrated into bin-picking operations.
Of the latest venture, Samuel Bouchard, CEO of Robotiq, said: “We are proud to be working with Pickit and Festo, both industry leaders in their respective fields of 3D vision and industrial linear motion.
