US robotics company 1X has unveiled a prototype of its bipedal humanoid robot designed for home use.
NEO Beta features a “bio-inspired” design and can “work safely among people”,
The launch of the prototype marks a milestone for the company as it transitions from conceptual development to bringing humanoid robots to consumer households.
The company said it aims to create an “abundant supply of physical labour through safe, intelligent humanoids that work alongside people”.
