Automotive company Nissan has announced a strategic partnership with Anaplan, a provider of scenario planning and analysis software, to accelerate its digitalisation efforts across the AMIEO, (Africa, the Middle East, India, Europe, and Oceania), region.Â
The purpose of the partnership is to harness artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to streamline Nissan’s operations and enhance its responsiveness to shifting market conditions.

The first phase of the initiative, set for completion by June 2025, will see the digitalisation of Nissan’s entire car flow process—from production forecasting to dealer stock management and customer sales.
This move is intended to improve data accuracy and operational efficiency, providing the company with better tools to respond to customer demand and market trends.
As part of the partnership, the platform will utilise advanced AI and machine learning technologies to monitor and adjust to changes in consumer preferences, supply chain disruptions, and fluctuating costs.
This will enable Nissan to make faster, more informed decisions on production and resource allocation across the region. The platform will also assist Nissan in analysing long-term market trends, improving inventory management, and fine-tuning design choices to better align with consumer needs.
The initiative is a key component of Nissan’s broader mid-term strategy, known as The Arc, which focuses on increasing agility and competitiveness within the evolving global automotive market.
