Danish field robotics company Agrointelli has appointed its first Australian distributor, which will delivery its autonomous implement-carrier Robotti to farmers across the country.
Corematic, a provider of R&D engineering services, will be the main distributor of Robotti. It will work to find service providers throughout Australia.
“Technology helps establish a direct relationship with the most advanced experts all around the world and Agrointelli is one of them,” said Jonathan Legault, CEO of Corematic.
“We are thrilled to be the official distributor of Robotti, offering a robust, powerful, and autonomous precision solution for the Australian farming industry.”
The first service provider Corematic is working with is Formatt Machinery, a family-owned business supplying farming and agricultural solutions. The company delivers both products and parts in the Wide Bay district. It has delivered the first Robotti in Australia.
Furthermore, Agrointelli believe its solution can assist the farming sector deal with “the lack of working hands”. Systems such as Robotti have been designed to deal with labour shortages, with Corematic already reporting that Australian farmers are requesting autonomous systems.
Jakob M. Bebe, Agrointelli’s CCO, added: “Automation is growing significantly in Australia and agriculture is an important sector in the country. Robotti can play a significant role in automating the agricultural processes and therefore, we see Australia as an interesting market.”
